"El pessebre"

This is "el pessebre", what would nowadays be called a diorama of the advent of Jesus. For Christmas 2002 I felt obliged to make some references to the sinking of the tanker Prestige, the ecological disaster that ensued and the demonstrations against the careless and disastrous decisions of the government.
For Christmas 2003 I wanted to make a reference to the hard life in a country that has been destroyed by war and is occupied by a foreign power
For Christmas 2004, a reference to our fortunate government change was unavoidable. Shepherds go in large masses to vote and to demonstrate in front of the central offices of "El Partido Popular" protesting against a series of half truths and lies about the murders of March 11th
For Christmas 2005, the chosen topic were the riots in France where thousands of cars were burnt
The non-politically oriented scenes look quite normal
For Christmas 2007 the topic was "Els Pastorets", that is, Christmas theater plays. I used and old paper toy theater.
